Another Giapo + film combination: we went to see Miranda July’s The Future during the film festival, and stopped in at Giapo on the way for a cup of coconut and lime sorbet.
A summer cocktail flavour, this tasted out of season in Auckland’s July, but deliciously creamy and sour. It was a Tasting Club flavour, and I haven’t seen it at Giapo since – though plain coconut sorbet makes occasional appearances, and makes an excellent pairing with cocoa sorbet.
