High Tea at Hector’s

This isn’t new news, but somehow I’ve missed blogging about it until now: Hector’s Restaurant at the Heritage Auckland serves vegan high tea.

A three-tiered cake stand displaying little sandwiches, a selection of tea cakes and sweet truffley morsels, scones with jam; a small pot of Harney & Sons tea; optional champagne. Very pleasant, more filling than you might expect, and a bit fancy.

 

High tea is served between 11.30am and 4.30pm each day, and you can book by phoning (09) 979 7434 (just make sure to specify that you want vegan high tea when booking as they also do a version with animals).
