Music video launch

All-vegan Auckland metal band 8 Foot Sativa is launching their new music video later this month. It’s an animal rights video produced by Meat Free Media. Their invitation to the launch event is below.

Hello everyone!

Meat Free Media, Sunset Studios and NZ Open Rescue are extremely proud and excited to announce the launch of 8 Foot Sativa’s latest music video for their new single “Sleepwalkers”. For the last few months we have been producing a hard hitting animal rights music video for the all-vegan band and Thursday 22nd of January is your chance to help us mark its launch.

There will be an evening of speakers and other animal rights videos culminating in the first ever public viewing of the music video. This will also be your chance to hear how the video came about, how it was produced and meet those involved in making it. Speakers on the night will include the director of the video, NZ Open Rescue and vocalist for the band Ben Read.

When: Thursday, January 22nd, 7:30pm

Where: Sunset Studios, Unit B7, 50 Keeling Rd, Henderson, Auckland

Cost: Entry is $10 which includes a free wine/beer/juice and nibbles.

If you’re coming, please book your place on 021 2987023, or aaron@meatfreemedia.com
(No prepayment required, pay when you arrive)

I would also like to take this opportunity to offer our thanks to SAFE who helped us get the video made through their generous support.

Please come and support the song, the band and the cause!

PS: Feel free to spread this among your own networks.

  1. hehe my boyfriend is the bass player! I haven’t seen the video yet, but he saw it a couple of days ago, sounds like it’s going to be quite emotive. Hopefully it will get some mainstream air time!
