Vegan desserts at Revel have been particularly good lately. Above is a walnut and rosewater cupcake, enjoyed the day after I got home from travelling last week. It was a rather nice combination of spicy and sweet, cakey and creamy, & it was attractively topped with a big swirl of pink frosting and hundreds & thousands.
Also this weekend, I had a fruit crumble, and chose not to indulge in cookies, peanut butter & chocolate cupcakes, chocolate midnight cake or peanut butter midnight cake, and probably other things I’m forgetting.
