Breakfast at Domain and Ayr is a negotiation for a vegan: nothing on the menu is unambiguously animal-free, but there are quite a few ingredients that can be put together into a vegan option.
The other day I had porridge, which can be made with soy or rice milk instead of dairy if you ask. It arrived in a huge, flat bowl, topped with cinnamon, toasted almonds and a poached fruit compote including spiced figs and blueberries. I liked this; the flavours worked well together and weren’t too sweet. Would eat again.
