Fresh tofu spring rolls from Soul Thai

I’ve been ordering occasional delivery food from Soul Thai for a few years now, and they’re a reliable favourite. They’re always quick (even more so since they opened a second location nearer to my house; the second Soul Thai is at 96 Mt Eden Road), delicious (favourite things: tofu satay, tom yum paak soup, spicy tofu noodles/ pad kee mao jay) and super reliable (the one time they messed up my order, they were very apologetic).

Here is a new vegan thing that was added to the menu recently: poh pia sod tohu, fresh tofu spring rolls.

Each order includes four fat rice paper rolls stuffed with tofu, vermicelli, fresh vegetables and mint, and sprinkled with toasted coconut. A spicy dipping sauce is included; they’re also good with Sriracha.

Fresh spring rolls are not so hard to make at home, but it’s nice to have the option of having someone else make them for you, and bring them to your doorstep. Recommended.
