Maybe you like the idea of a pop-up café that appears at markets and events around Auckland, serving cups of tea and Indonesian Malay vegan food? Maybe you tried Shasha’s cooking at Auckland Zinefest this year, and want more?
Then here’s something to check out and support: Nusantara Indonesian Tea Cafe is running a Kickstarter to support Shasha to run a regular stall at local markets, appear at events, respond to catering requests, and build towards a physical cafe space.
The project needs to raise another $800 in the next week to make this happen. For your pledges, you can get food vouchers, cookies, a recipe zine, or a catered high tea party for 10 friends! Check it out.
